Welcome

To you the readers, welcome to our humble little blog.To you the chickpea growing inside Anat, welcome as well. Our intention is to use this medium to keep you informed on all things baby-related. We’re excited about the prospect of sharing this with all of our family and friends. Especially since so many of you live farther away than we’d like (and don’t visit enough). We’re going to try to not censor ourselves too much and hope you enjoy all we have to share in all the gory detail. I hope you like puke euphemisms, because we’ve got plenty.

We’re also excited about keeping this as a journal of our experience so one day the kid can realize just how awesome we really are… especially the one of us going through all the physical and emotional changes… and even more especially the one of us listening to that other one as she goes through all of the physical and emotional changes.

Also, feel free to use the comments section. And if you’re one of the grandmothers and you’re commenting, spelling counts. )

Hope you enjoy reading about the next 9 months or so,
Anat and Aaron

    Dear Aaron and Anat,
We’ve been intermittently following your blog since Thanksgiving, when Eli forwarded it to Sherwin and he forwarded it to me. Congratulations on a terrific job of allowing us to share your journey, if not, thankfully, Anat’s labor pains. And congratulations on the beautiful Adam Dylan - he chose his parents well. I have to tell you, having met you both and thoroughly enjoyed your company several times over the last few years, I kvelled looking at the hospita pics. (Robyn would kvell too if she could pronounce it, but she’s Canadian. And besides, she’s still asleep.) I don’t know when we’ll get to see you and the baby next, but I just wanted to add our congratulations and best wishes.
